Dressing mixture with many uses! PoP!

My son Patrick is very fond of a special dressing called Ranch dressing or Farmardressing as we call it in Sweden. Over the years, we have bought semi-manufactured products from the US but most are quite tasteless. During Christmas holidays a few years ago, Patrick and I experimented freely. After many attempts, we finally created a very good dressing. The best thing is that our PoP (Pakizeh & Patrick) dressing as we call it at home is a dressing that lasts for a long time as it includes only dry ingredients. The mixture can also be used with dips, cold sauce for BBQ dishes or even a “dry rub” for meat or chicken. I promise you, you will not regret making it!

Preparation:  5 – 10 minuter

Ingredients for spice mixture:

1.5 dl dried parsley
0.5 dl chopped and dried onions
1.5 tablespoons dried dill
2 tablespoons of onion salt
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons of onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
8 pieces of saltine or tapini

Powder the saltines at high speed in a food processor.
Add the parsley and run another few turns.
Now add the dried chopped onion, and the rest of the ingredients, and run for a short while so that everything is mixed well.

PoP dressing:
1 tablespoon mix.
2 1/4 dl sour cream (you can also use crème fraiche – then the dressing becomes less acidic).
2 1/4 dl mayonnaise (light or plain mayonnaise)

Allow the dressing to mature for several hours in the refrigerator before using it. It stays about 1 week in the fridge.

 Dip:
1 tablespoon mix
3 dl sour cream

Taste and add any more mix.

Enjoy!
